LinkOnly games in a "<A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choose_Your_Own_Adventure">Choose your own adventure</A>" style were accepted. The games could be developed in any programming language, as far as the target machine is the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K. Currah MicroSpeech support is accepted, but just as an optional feature - the game should work without it anyway. Graphics can only be built from standard ASCII characters (hence UDGs are forbidden).
