Notes

PublicationClive Townsend described Ace Triplex as an experiment to see if smoothly scaling sprites were possible on a Spectrum. By tapping space, you fly at normal speed, tapping space again makes you fly too quickly. The planet is quite small and if you fly over it at full speed, you can almost orbit the planet every frame, which gives the illusion of flying backwards.
